Javier Luna, Director, Nestle Infant Nutrition/Gerber Life Insurance, Mexico

Biography: Senior Manager of the Nutrition, Health and Wellbeing (NHW) area of ​​Nestlé. Academic of the Autonomous Metropolitan University. He holds two masters degrees in Nutrition from the University of Andalusia, and several graduates, including "Science and Technology for Education". He was President of the Executive Committee of the Mexican Nutrition Society and the AMENAC (Mexican Nutrition Society). Author of the Book Risk Assessment in Food. 



Massimo Collino, Professor, University of Turin, Italy

Biography: Massimo Collino is Associate Professor of Pharmacology and Toxicology at the University of Turin (Italy) and Head of the Laboratory of Cardiovascular and Metabolic Pharmacology at the Department of Drug Science and Technology (University of Turin). He worked as Visiting Scientist at the William Harvey Research Institute, University of London (UK). His current research interests are the pathophysiology and the pharmacological therapy of diet-induced insulin resistance and the related cardiovascular risk factors mainly organ-related ischemic events. He has published more than 50 papers in reputed international journals and has been serving as an Editorial Board Member of several scientific journals. He is Member of the Italian Society of Pharmacology, the European Biomedical Research Association. , British Pharmacological Society, European Shock Society.



Manuel Hernández-Triana, Professor, University of Havana, USA

Biography: Senior researcher and full professor in biochemistry at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Havana. From 1984-2014, he directed the Department of Biochemistry and Physiology of the Cuban Institute of Nutrition. His research work has been focused to dietary protein quality, energy recommendations and isotopic methods for the measurement of body composition, energy expenditure and Helicobacter pylori infection. He was author of the 1996 and 2008 Cuban Dietary Recommended Guidelines, national coordinator of regional research projects in Latin America, expert since 1999 of the International Agency of Atom Energy, international advisor of the Argentinean National Agency for Science and Technology, President of the Cuban Nutrition Society, member of the Spanish Nutrition Society and President of the Latin American Nutrition Society from 2009-2012. In 1982, he received the Humboldt Award of the Humboldt University, Germany for his research on dietary protein quality for maintenance and in 1995 the Pan American Health Organization´s Fred L. Soper Award for Excellence in Health Literature for his work on nutritional factors in the neuropathy epidemic on the Isle of Youth, Cuba. Member of the Organizing Committees of the ICN and Latin American Nutrition Congresses. Nutrition Professor at the International Institute for Healthcare Professionals, Boca Raton, Florida since 2015.
